I'm not sure if it's Spring Fever, or if he's just going through a wierd phase, but Justin sure seems distracted lately! It's always amazing to me how his ADHD can rear it's ugly head just when you think everything is going well.

Yesterday, I asked him to go downstairs and get a shirt out of his dresser. The next thing I know, he's bouncing the basketball around. I asked him if he got his shirt, and he says, "Oops!" and puts the ball down. I return to loading the dishwasher. Five minutes later, he comes up the stairs and says, "Mom…what was I supposed to do?"
So we're seeing his pdoc tomorrow. I'm sure she'll want to increase his Strattera…especially since he hasn't actually had a dosage increase since he started 3 years ago. We know his meds will need to be adjusted as he grows, but it's always a little scary to increase anything.

One of the other things he keeps complaining about is not getting enough sleep. I'm not sure what's going on there, since he is going to bed every night at 8:30 and seems to be sleeping all the way through the night. Still, he woke up this morning and was practivally slurring his words, so I went ahead and let him go back to bed until 10:30. Let's hope sleeping a bit more improves his focus today!
